Hemp oil for dogs, which is also suitable for coat care, comes from cold-pressed hemp seeds and is considered one of the most suitable plant oils for internal use in animals. One of the most common effects of using hemp oil in dogs is improved coat condition.
Every oil has certain characteristics that make it valuable, but hemp oil has several. It has a balanced ratio of Omega-3 and Omega-6 and contains phytosterols, tocopherols, chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals. What does all this mean for your pet?
What can be found in hemp oil?
Omega-3 and Omega-6
While omega-9 can be produced by the body, omega-3 and omega-6 must come from food or supplements. In general, we recommend adding hemp oil to dog food - large dogs should get one tablespoon, while small dogs should receive one teaspoon.
